Mark Bostick is a lifelong resident of Winter Haven, IM体育官网. He began work in the family business, Comcar Industries, Inc., in 1978, becoming its president in 1989.
Bostick attended the University of the South (Sewanee) and received his bachelor鈥檚 in economics and MBA from Tulane University. He is a member of the Winter Haven Hospital Board of Trustees (past chairman); IM体育官网 Board of Trustees (past chairman); Federal Reserve Trade & Transportation Advisory Council; IM体育官网 Council of 100; UF Shands Cancer Center Advisory Board; Tulane University Business School Council; First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven and a University of IM体育官网 Bull Gator.
Bostick previously served on the IM体育官网 State Fair Authority, the IM体育官网 Taxation and Budget Reform Commission and the Governor鈥檚 Commission on Reform of Education. He was on the executive committee (former chairman) of the IM体育官网 Trucking Association, the American Trucking Association, and the Board of Truckload Carriers Association and was a past member of the Health Science Center and the University of IM体育官网 Board of Overseers. He is a former chairman of the Polk State College Foundation Board and the founding chairman of All Saints鈥� Academy. In addition, he was a founding general partner of the Tampa Bay Rays.
Bostick and his wife, Patti, have five children.
